An excellent Literacy program teaching Grammar.
Come on-board Spaceship Grammatica™. By helping the various departments of the Grammatica, students are introduced to the basic rules and conventions that provide the grammatical structure of the English language. The program has 14 modules. By progressing through these modules, students learn about basic sentence structure, word classes, punctuation and homophones. Students are introduced to subjects and predicates, nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, articles and conjunctions. The modules actively teach the grammar rules for countable and uncountable nouns, plus the importance of agreement between nouns, pronouns and verbs. Students are introduced to verb number, tense and object.
School Versions can be networked. All School Versions and Network licences include additional teaching material.
Students will enjoy learning about possessive case nouns and pronouns. Punctuation is actively taught and reinforced. Students learn to correctly use full stops, capital letters, commas, and how to punctuate contractions. Captain Phraser and the crew of the Spaceship Grammatica™ make learning grammar fun.
At Lieutenant Iheardya’s translating machine, students will distinguish between correctly and incorrectly written sentences. Incorrectly written sentences are sent to the recycling depot where students sort them into word classes.
WHO WILL BENEFIT?
Phonics Alive! 4 Grammar is a unique and revolutionary concept. It can be used with students at a very early age, through to students in upper primary and secondary. The program can be used with students with learning difficulties, those for whom English is a second language, and those in a skills acquisition stage of learning syntax and Grammar principles.
TEACHING GUIDE
A 155 page Teaching Guide filled with activities and blackline masters, is included with each School Version of Phonics Alive! 4. These masters allow the student to practise lessons that they have worked on in each of the 15 modules. A 25 page Appendice explains Grammar as a refresher course for the Teacher/Parent.

CERTIFICATES OF ACHIEVEMENT
On completion of a module the student is presented with a certificate which can be printed if desired. On the certificate the student is awarded a percentage mark which is based on the number of times that they selected the correct answer on their first attempt.

Network Licences are available for this program. Licences are supplied as 10 user, 20, 50 and Unlimited. Schools may UPGRADE to network licences if the School Version has already been purchased. Multi CD Lab Packs are supplied as 5, 10, 15 and 20.
